The Marketplace
Learn how to navigate the marketplace and find the right projects to work on.
The Marketplace is your home page in the Worker Dashboard. It displays all projects in a sortable table, showing both available projects and those already claimed by workers.
Access the Marketplace by clicking Marketplace in the sidebar. The page shows:
- Stats Cards – Three cards showing Available Projects, My Projects (claimed by you), and Total Claimed
- Filter Buttons – Toggle between All, Available, and Claimed projects
- Search Bar – Search by project name or ID
- Project Table – All projects with sortable columns
The marketplace updates in real-time. When a project is claimed or unclaimed, you'll see the change immediately without refreshing.
Each row in the table displays:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Project | Project name and ID |
| Status | Current status badge (Pending, In Progress, Review, Completed, Delivered) |
| Customer | The client's display name |
| Created | When the project was submitted |
| Worker | Who claimed it (shows pseudonym) or "Unclaimed" |
| Actions | View button + Claim/Unclaim button |
Use these controls to find projects quickly:
- Filter buttons – Click All, Available, or Claimed to filter the list
- Search bar – Type to search by project name or ID
- Column headers – Click Project, Status, or Created headers to sort (click again to reverse)
Click View on any project row to see full details. The project page shows:
- Overview Tab – Project summary, customer info, and status (visible to everyone)
- Claim Button – Available if you haven't claimed it yet
- Quick Actions – Links to customer preview, GitHub repo, and build downloads (if available)
Tabs like Plan, PRD, Conversation, Chat, Capabilities, Environment Variables, and Changelog are only visible after you claim the project.
Consider these factors when deciding which project to claim:
- Your Skills
Does the project match your technical expertise? Check the overview for technology hints.
- Project Status
Pending projects haven't been started yet. Projects "In Progress" may have existing work from other workers.
- Timeline
Projects have a 72-hour delivery target from creation. Check the created date to understand urgency.
- Existing Workers
Multiple workers can claim the same project. Check the Worker column – you may be competing with others.
If you're new to Olive Code, consider starting with smaller projects to learn the workflow before taking on more complex ones.
